actually, i like to walk around at night. i walk a lonely road, it's home to me and i walk alone.
when the skies are pitch black, with only the moon illuminating the darkness
there's some cool wind in my face.. so serene..
and i'd always be deep in thought when i walk around like that at night. i used to think of alot of things.. stuffs like what should i do about myself, my future, what i'm doing now, my targets and goals.. and lots more.
i remembered last time when i used to be enjoyin with ma old band, i'd always go on walks like this at night, and i'll be imagining the scenario on the actual performance date, when i'd hold the mic, when i'd stomp the boost pedal for a heart thumping power riffs, when i'd swing my guitar to my back and take the mic out of the mic stand, or even serenade the mic stand. all those stuffs.
hell yeah, my imagination was pretty damned good.
and with all those, it helped me to build up my anticipation and my eagerness to fast forward the days.. can't wait to jump on the stage and do those shit that i've thought of. the scenarios would just be in my head every night.. before i sleep, i'd lie down and close my eyes, thinking about the actual performance, what would i say, how would i work the crowd, what should i say during the intervals between songs, or should i jump off the stage..
when these scenarios kept playing over and over in my head, it helped me to build confidence. it made me look forward to doing what i wanted to do, and it really boosted my spirit and energy, fucking eager to go and unleash it and give it all i've got on the actual day.
u see, confidence is something nobody can help you with. it all starts with yourself.
maybe you're not really good in somethin in particular and you see others doin it like they've been doin it since they were born, dont lose hope on yourself.
remember, confidence and practice are the twin pillars for success.
just build them up, and no one can knock you down.
