behold the most anticipated shoe from NSB in 2009, the "Gucci Dunk"

denim on the black parts and premium leather for the rest.

originally designed by Girl Skateboards in 2005 and supposed to drop alongside the equally hyped-up "Tiffany" dunk sbs. but due to some problems because they gave such an awesome design to nike (they had their own footwear label, 'Lakai') they scrapped the project, and only 14 of the samples were made. prices for these dunks went sky high, up to 2k and above (possibly more than that, i'm not sure) and four years later, the Guccis were back on track.

this time, its a Nov release (quickstrike possibly) and preorders have been soaring around forums!! this release is a little diffrent from the original samples, mainly the denim part is less frayed, and the additional "RESN" tag on the tongue, which is a shoutout to Sam Smyth of Girl Skateboards who used to spray that shit for the IBC crew all over town.

its a highly coppable shit, and keep your fingers crossed that it'll reach our shores (be ready for a full-night campout in front of your favorite skate shop!)

am i gonna cop this? my chick says it looks plain, but my senses are tellin me that its gonna have a high resale value and it might hit as hard as the tiffany craze!
